Happy Christmas Season!
Jonathan is wrapping up the semester really well. This semester was such a good one, all in-person, and with much attention paid to refining his curriculum. His new class that was recently approved, Advanced Art Studio, will debut in January and he is very excited to see what the passionate participants will create!
Improvements are projected for Live Action Friday, the outreach program Jonathan heads-up. He also looks forward to strengthening connections in his LifeGroup of freshman boys and will be chaperoning SALT (Serving and Learning Together) trips, a week of community service and field trips in February.
Lyndsey’s LifeGroup girls LOVE their Tuesday studies and chats. They have such a strong bond and sense of trust. She has them on occasion in classes she subs (she is still on 3-4 days/week in HS math and science). They’re SO sweet and also super excited for our Christmas celebration, which will include Secret Santa gifts, festive treats, and the story of the birth of Jesus!
Nutrition work is going well. Since December can be stressful for many women in Lyndsey’s target audience, she is focusing on overall well-being, nourishing every aspect of their lives, and giving grace, while serving their health how they can, when they can this month. (Oh…and the ladies are loving watching her bump grow! “Bumpdate” -update on the baby belly- below.)
A very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you from J+L+2! Excited to hear what you get up to in the New Year! We are surely thankful for the blessings God gave us in 2022 and can hardly wait for what is in store for our family in 2023 and beyond.
I am so excited for you and Jonathan, your life groups and of course, the babies!
